How does it work?

Portraits on commission

 

My work is not software generated. Each stroke is done by hand using a variety of digital brushes and finished with color adjustments and textures. If printed on canvas it will look, as it truly is, exactly like a painting.

 

How do I order a custom portrait?

 

First you contact me and I will tell you how to send me good photo of the image you wish painted. You can request a particular style (romantic, realism, impressionist, surreal, illustration, etc.

Once I have done the painting I will send you a low-res image for you to see. Once you approve it you can:

 

1. Order the file (jpg or psd) directly from me. I will send you a high resolution file that can be printed up to 40+ inches on any media. You can ask for an one-of-a-kind, in which case I will archive a copy. Or, you can ask for a copy, in which case I may also use the image on my blog. You would make payment using Paypal.

 

2. Order a ready-made print which I will then place  on my website (on Fine Arts International) and have it shipped to you anywhere in the world. This well respected company does high quality, guaranteed prints on a variety of media and also does custom matting and framing. If you choose this option, I will upload your portrait for your eyes only and send you the link to order.

 

3. If you live in Asia, I can have a print made in Bangkok and shipped to you. (Less expensive shipping than Fine Arts International.)

 

What does it cost?

 

My fee is generally between $100 to $1500 dollars, depending on the final quality, style, one-of-a-kind, etc. Printing and shipping cost vary also depending on size, kind of media, framing, etc. A small 8 x 12 print on matte paper could be as little as $30. However, these are high-quality paintings and are best printed on canvas.

 

What about your other artwork?

 

I sell most of my art work through direct to customer digital files suitable for printing on canvas or fine art paper. I can arrange to sell prints through Fine Arts International or directly. If you see something that you like, contact me and I will give you instructions for purchase.
